In FY25, Shore Legal Access continued to meet our community where they are—literally and figuratively. To reduce barriers to justice, we expanded our outreach through pop-up clinics and relocated services to more visible, accessible locations. These efforts ensured that more individuals could connect with legal support in spaces they already trust and frequent.
We also deepened our partnerships, working alongside community organizations to co-host events and strengthen collective impact. These collaborations allowed us to extend our reach and respond to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Investing in the future of our workforce remained a priority. Through participation in the Maryland Year of Service program, we hired new administrative support staff, and in addition hosted eight interns. SLA engaged our community's future workforce by participating in a variety of events hosted by Junior Achievement and other partners to cultivate the next generation of advocates and public service professionals.
Finally, we played a key role in catalyzing and supporting a statewide conversation around community justice workers—advancing dialogue on how to better integrate and sustain these critical roles within our legal ecosystem.
Together, these efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to access, collaboration, and innovation in the pursuit of justice.
